A not bad and trouble costless app
I relish playing solitaire and have never had a problem with the app until a week or so ago when information technology would crash whenver I changed or customized the groundwork with personal pictures. I didn't know if I had done something in fault and acquired the trouble or what. I tried restarting and changed settings to no avail. The just affair I could of doing was to go on sending the crash reports hoping it would exist fixed but two days went by and nada was fixed. Work finally demanded my full attention and time making me forget the app until today. After restarting my Mac for a security update I noticed this app had been updated 3 days earlier and establish a curt message acknowledging at that place having been a trouble but was now fixed. I appreciate that extra pace and am grateful this app is working as slap-up and trouble free as always.
Nice, but missing some features
Pros: Y'all can quit the app in the middle of a game and when you start it back up the game comes back up where you left it. This solved 1 of the things that has actually bothered me about other solitare apps, which is finding y'all need to reboot or something and this causes yous to lose a game.
Cons: I have just played Freecell, merely their version of this game is missing some features that make it a bit annoying to play. First, you lot are limited in the size of a stack of cards based on the number of open freecell spaces, even if in that location are empty spaces in the tableau. And so moving a big stack of cards tin take a large number of unnecessary moves. Second, when you click on a card so that the game decides where to move it, the game often seems to pick the worst possible move. It volition typically non motility the card to a stack, moving it to an open cell in the tableau, which is pretty much never the correct move. Or it will move the menu to the foundation, when you need the card to remain in the tableau then yous can use it to build a stack. These behaviors need to be stock-still. I find myself reversing most of the automated moves using disengage.
A dearest/detest thing ...
I've really enjoyed playing Klondike 1 with winnable deals. Far from boring, "winnable" doesn't always mean "easily winnable" and some games are a existent challenge. HOWEVER, getting the app to deal winnable easily is badly designed. If yous close the app after you've finished a game then when you reopen it the app deals y'all a game that may or may not exist winnable and after you've finished the first game y'all aren't ginve the option for a winnable deal only hae to showtime go to the carte (but after that get-go game you are given the "winnable deal" choice when you terminate a game). What the app needs is an option to ALWAYS deal winnable games.
[For some reason, today afterwards I finished a game the "winnable bargain" selection didn't show upward at all––not in the normal "redeal" popup and not in menu. The only choice I had was to either do a "normal" deal or quit the game and hope the winnable option would be at that place when I restarted it. I decided to restart the app and, sure plenty, it dealt me an unwinnable paw. I had a VERY long win streak going (over yard games in a row over a menses of many months). Information technology is really frustrating to have that reset back to zero because of an app mistake.]
